About Us

My Name is Tim Toensing, and I am a member of the Baby Boomers’ club; if there is such a thing. I have been trying everything I can to stay healthy for as long as possible. Running is my passion, but even that has become a hit-and-miss endeavor as I get older. I enjoy biking as well.

My wife and I have two upright single-speed old-style beach cruisers and a side-by-side tandem recumbent bike. We love to use them at different times. However, the one thing that stays the same is where we can go and how far. That is not the issue now.

Since switching to e-bikes, we can travel further under our own power without worrying if we will have enough energy to return. Hills are nothing to worry about, and we can let the motor do the work. With e-bikes, you are free to work as much or as little as you like. These are fun for young and old alike.
